Thanks to the Economic Development Corporation (EDC), Kleypas Park has received new playground equipment. The City Council has accepted a proposal from the EDC to use Texas Parks & Wildlife grant dollars for park improvements. In order to maximize the grant matching, Council has agreed to participate with in-kind labor on behalf of the City Maintenance Crew.
