Maintenance Department

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Department has the responsibility for ensuring the safety and maintaining the condition of all public streets, alleys, and rights of ways.

Services Provided

  • Pothole patching
  • Crack sealing
  • Asphalt paving
  • Asphalt rejuvenation
  • Street cleaning
  • Snow and ice removal from streets
  • Alley grading
  • Chip sealing
  • Leaf collection
  • Unplugging drains or sumps
  • Stormwater drainage
  • Facility maintenance
  • Street construction projects

Quarterly Cleanup

  • 2023 Quarterly Cleanup Dates are:
    • January 14-15
    • April 15-16
    • July 16-17
    • October 14-15

The gates are open from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The location is the Brush Area next to the Emergency Service Center at 6 Lake Forest Dr. NO BATTERIES, PAINT, TIRES, and NO CHEMICALS AT ALL. All other items are accepted.

Brush Recycling Area Hours & Closed Schedule

Starting October 3, 2020, the Brush Recycling Areas is OPEN every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM  EXCEPT for Holiday Weeks; when it is closed.  

The brush recycling area is located behind 6 Lake Forest Drive.
